    PHCC Qatar

    PHCC is the state sponsored body responsible for the delivery of primary care services in the State of Qatar. Incorporated in 2012 it has an annual budget of US$ 475m and employs 3,000 staff. It is pursuing an ambitious primary care strategy, a key enabler for which is the health centre expansion programme. A major public works programme that will see the opening of 17 new health centres.

    Integre were engaged to;

    a) Lead the commercial negotiations with two prospective private sector partner for a deal (US$ 900m) to manage/operate clinical services from 4 of the new health centres
    b) Develop the out-sourcing strategy for the remaining 13 new health centres

    The engagement has involved working across of a range of key internal and external stakeholders, including the General Tenders Committee, Ministry of Finance, Ashghal (the State’s public works body) Supreme Council of Health, Hamad Medical Corporation and the National Health Insurance Company.

    A recommendation on a Preferred Bidder appointment was presented to Minister for Public Health, Supreme Council of Health and the Strategy Implementation Board for a decision.

    A draft out-sourcing strategy was submitted for consideration by the PHCC Senior Management Executive Committee.
